He did pretty well with his 3 shots. We did ask why is ankles seem to slant in while he is standing and found it is because he has no arches (just like Daddy!).
Next check up is in 6 months!

18 Months Old
Picture was taken yesterday at Jake's Kindergarten Celebration.
Kaleb has mastered the stairs! Now that he has fallen down 2, he will not go up alone and is hesitant even when you are right behind him (he keeps looking down).
He loves being outside, but doesn't care for the feeling of grass on his bare feet- he will actually put his feet in the air if he is sitting down (it's too funny!).
He loves watching Jake and I play Webkinz. We had Speedracer on tonight to check it out and was really getting into it.
Still lots of Kaleb jibberish- would love to know what he is saying!
He is cutting another tooth (top right)- discovered it when he cut his tongue and the top of his gum last week while running his truck through the house (lots of blood, thankfully, no ER).
He loves his "Fridge DJ" by Leap Frog. And we cant keep him out of the garbage can!
He loves to brush his teeth- he even moves the brush around his mouth like he is supposed to.
When you ask him if he wants a drink, he will bring you an empty cup....and will put it in the fridge when he is done with it

17 Months
Crazy hair just after bath! Still no "first hair cut"...
Kaleb pointing to something and making a noise resembling "his-zeh". No real words yet (just a few Kaleb jibberish).
Kaleb just started climbing up onto the footrest of the recliner while it is in the reclined position.
Then a day after that, he braved the stairs and made it almost all the way to the top (two shy!); he has been lingering on the first 2/3.
When he first goes outside, he likes to stick close by for a bit as he seems to be afraid of the ground.
He is doing good in his crib at night. He is usually asleep by 9:30 p.m. and I put him to bed by 10 p.m. Lately though, he has been getting up at 4 a.m. and goes back to sleep with us.
He isn't too picky in the food dept., but doesn't seem to care for any kind of fruit except for applesauce.
Jake thinks his poo diapers look like peanut butter sauce. Speaking of which, I just had to clean a mess up off of him, the floor, and myself= second shower of the day!
He loves Jake's trains, hot wheels, and Pixar Car toys. He puts them on the kitchen table and runs them back and forth making "broom broom" noises.

He Walks!
Last night while I was doing taxes, Todd was like "Jenn, Jenn" (here I am thinking he is telling me to check out some show he is watching on TV, so I take my time to look)- I missed Kaleb's first 4 steps (he has taken 1 or 2 here and there). Such a big boy..he did it like it was no big deal.
He did it again a few minutes later, but the camera wasn't ready. Today, he has been walking on an off, you'll look up an not expect him to be walking and here comes Little Frankenstein.

That's Amore
Just about every night while I am preparing dinner, we turn off the TV (yey!) and enjoy Big Band music. The kids love to dance to the likes of Glenn Miller, Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington, and Artie Shaw. Kaleb has come to love Dean Martin's "That's Amore". He stops whatever he is doing when that song is played and starts "singing" and swaying back and forth with a huge smile on his face (picture on the right..tried to get him in action).

Kaleb Loves the Remote
*Excuse the lighting!
No matter what channel the tv is on, Kaleb always manages to change it to one of the digital music channels (they are 900-950) when he gets his hands on the remote. I can't remember if I had said this before, but Jake was watching one of his shows when Kaleb got a hold of the remote..he changed the station and Jakob yelled "HEY!!"..Kaleb just looked at him and went "He- he" and crawled away. It was too funny.
