Kaleb just loves the library! These were taken the night I brought the boys to do their Christmas picture. Kaleb loves hearing people read stories, he gets so excited and makes his Kaleb noises. Hopefully he will continue his love of books!!

Week 47 & Halloween

This week Kaleb stood twice (once holding onto his cube and the other Jakob's chair). At the Dr's office, he climbed up onto a step going into the toy area. He was so good getting his flu shot..he didn't even cry.

Week 46

These are the faces Kaleb made when I turned the camera on. He is trying so hard to stand..almost there! He still likes to "swat" at people. He loves to go places he's not supposed to....and put things in his mouth he shouldn't. He is very curious and loves to open and close doors.

10 Months

For the most part, Big K is a happy baby. He gets quite the little attitude when a toy is taken from him, he is tired or hungry, or when big brother will not leave him alone (he "hits" him and "yells"). We are slowly re-introducing chunkier foods as he wanted nothing to do with them a few weeks ago; also tried him on whole milk and milk based formula, but he wasn't having it (he did drink some in a sippy cup). He loves "helping" me with the dishes. Favorite TV show is Thomas the Train. Favorite toys are Jakob's railroad tracks and his wooden block that he loves to bang on the floor. He throws toys all over the place! He loves to go for walks and is such a good boy when we go to the store or a restaurant. And when nothing else will calm him down when he is upset or tired...it is my hair that does the trick.

Week 43

Kaleb has been crawling all over the place these past few weeks. He pulls gets himself up on his knees but doesn't stand just yet. He loves Jakob's toys, remotes, and the buttome for the computer (hasn't figured out that he has to press it in to make it work!).

Week 42

Even with a little runny nose, Kaleb was still smiles!

Such a big boy, sitting at the table and eating big boy food (diced carrots, meat sticks,).

9 Month Check Up

Kaleb had his 9 month check up today. Everything checked out good and no shots! He now weighs 24 lbs. (not even a pound gain from June!)...most of his growing was in inches- he now is 30.5 inches long! Got the ok to continue with introducing more solids (no eggs or honey) and I can start him on milk between 10-11 months (earlier than the "12 month rule" due to his weight).

Next appt. is in December!
